Orders & Payment

How do I place an order?

You can place an order through our website by adding items to your cart and checking out via WhatsApp. Alternatively, contact us directly via WhatsApp or email with the items you'd like to purchase.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept bank transfers, PayPal, and major credit/debit cards. Payment details will be provided when you place your order.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes! We use secure payment processors and never store your payment information on our servers.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Yes, but only if production hasn't started. Contact us immediately at hello@crochethand.com and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

Will I receive an order confirmation?

Yes! You'll receive a confirmation via email or WhatsApp once your order is placed and another when it ships.

Are your products really handmade?

Yes! Every single item is lovingly handcrafted by us. No machines, no mass production - just skilled hands and quality yarn.

Why do products look slightly different from photos?

Because each item is handmade, there may be slight variations in colour, size, or pattern placement. This makes your item unique! However, we ensure every piece meets our quality standards.

What materials do you use?

We use premium acrylic and cotton yarn that's soft, durable, and safe for babies. All materials are hypoallergenic and carefully selected for quality.

Are your products safe for babies?

Absolutely! All our baby items are made with baby-safe materials, securely stitched, and designed with safety in mind. However, always supervise babies with any accessories.

How do I care for my crochet items?

Hand wash in cool water with mild detergent, gently squeeze (don't wring), and lay flat to dry. Detailed care instructions are included with each order.

Can I wash crochet items in the washing machine?

We recommend hand washing for longevity, but some items can be machine washed on a gentle cycle in a laundry bag. Check the care tag included with your order.

Custom Orders

Do you take custom orders?

Yes! We love creating custom pieces. Contact us with your idea, preferred colours, and any personalisation details. View our Custom Orders page for more information.

How long do custom orders take?

Standard custom orders take 1-2 weeks from approval. Complex projects may take 2-4 weeks. We'll provide a timeframe when you place your order.

Can I choose different colours?

Yes! Just let us know your preferred colours when ordering and we'll create your item in those shades.

Can you add a name to any product?

Most of our products can be personalized! Contact us to discuss adding names, initials, or dates to your chosen item.

Do custom orders cost more?

Custom orders start at the base product price plus any customisation fees (e.g., personalisation, colour changes). We'll provide a quote before starting.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does shipping take?

UK: 3-5 business days (standard) or 1-2 days (express). International: 7-21 business days depending on location. See our Shipping page for details.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! We ship worldwide. International customers may be responsible for customs fees and import duties.

How much does shipping cost?

Can I track my order?

Yes! You'll receive a tracking number once your order ships. You can track your package via the courier's website.

What if my package is lost or damaged?

Contact us immediately! We'll work with the courier to locate lost packages. For damaged items, we'll send a replacement or refund.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days to return unused items in original condition. Personalized items cannot be returned unless defective. See our Returns Policy for full details.

How do I return an item?

Email us at hello@crochethand.com for a return authorization number, then ship the item back to us. Full instructions on our Returns page.

Can I return a personalized item?

Personalised items can only be returned if there's a defect or error on our part. Please double-check all personalisation details before ordering!

How long does a refund take?

Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving your return. It may take an additional 3-5 days for your bank to show the refund.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes! Contact us and we'll arrange an exchange for a different colour, size, or item of equal value.

We're a UK-based business creating handmade crochet products with love and care.

Do you have a physical shop?

We're currently online-only, which allows us to offer our handmade products at competitive prices.

Can I visit your workshop?

We operate from a home studio. For special requests or local pickups, please contact us to arrange.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

All items come beautifully packaged and gift-ready! For special gift wrapping requests, please let us know when ordering.

Can I request a gift message?

Yes! Include your gift message in the order notes and we'll add a complimentary gift card.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?
